The Chargers Open Section Play With a Win!

Monday night marked the beginning of section play for the 2015-2016 season. The team traveled to Freedom looking to set a tone for the remainder of section play. The girls came out strong ended the first quarter with a 20 point lead. The team continued to play aggressive defense the remainder of the game and was able to keep Freedom under 20 points. The game wasn't all about aggressive defense though, the Charger offense was also on display. The girls played like a true team passing the ball and always finding an opening. This unselfish offense lead to four Chargers scoring in double figures with at least 3 others just under that mark. The team play lead to the chargers scoring 73 points in the four quarters.

The team will look to continue their section winning record tomorrow night as they take on Northgate at home. Games begin at 6:00pm and 7:30pm.
